International Programs connects Iowa with the world through a variety of programs. Classroom programs, like the International Classroom Journey and the Summer Institute for Teachers, offer international educational programming to elementary and secondary teachers and students.

The Global Village living/learning community is a unique experience for international and domestic students at the UI to engage in common coursework and social activities.

Community programs, such as the monthly WorldCanvass program, Chinese language and culture courses, and conferences and events on international topics, offer community members, businesses, and organizations the opportunity to learn about the ever-changing world around them.
