The College of Public Health offers a 12-hour certificate program over the Iowa Communication Network and/or the World Wide Web that is designed for individuals seeking to strengthen their knowledge and skills in basic public health competencies.

although it is also available for individuals who are not presently working
in the health care system but who are considering a career in public
