Mormon Handcart Park and Nature Preserve

Information markers describe the 1,400-mile journey of the handcart pioneers from Iowa City (the end of the railroad line) to Salt Lake City in 1856-57. Self-directed tours are available as well as guided tours upon request. Hiking trails are also located on site. For more information, call (319) 335-1049.
