University of Iowa Wildlife Camps

Summer day camps and overnight camps at Macbride Nature Recreation Area introduce youth to the beauty and diversity of the natural world through firsthand experiences. Fledgling Camp is for first graders; Hawk Camp (woodlands), Falcon Camp (prairies), Otter Camp (natural awareness) and Eagle Camp (wetlands) for grades two through five; and Owl Camp for grades sixth and seventh.
