Our Partnership with the Dual Career Network

Staff Language and Culture Services (SLCS) helps clients of the Dual Career Network who need to improve their English (reading, writing, speaking, or listening), who need information about the writing US-style resumes and cover letters, and who may also need practice interviewing. Help for Other Job Applicants

Staff Language and Culture Services can help some English Language Learners complete the computerized forms needed to apply for Merit* and Professional and Scientific** jobs at The University of Iowa. We help English Language Learners who know that they meet the qualifications for certain job openings, but who cannot complete the online job applications without assistance with English or using the computer. We also may be able to provide advice on U.S. resume and cover letter format, as well as practice interviews. For more information or to request help for yourself or someone you know, please contact us.
