Employees who are paid monthly can do this through payroll deduction. These programs are voluntary.
The University is not making any judgments concerning the companies, nor the product offerings. The University has no say in the design features of these products, the premiums being charged, who is eligible, and what companies are being used.
These product offerings contain no university contribution and can be paid through payroll deduction on an after-tax basis only. These products cannot be included in the flexible benefits program, and a person is not allowed to use any spending account funds for the premiums.
The University Benefits Office is unable to answer any questions concerning these products. There are multiple products offered through multiple companies. Please direct any questions you have directly to the company involved.
