It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to conduct whatever inquiry or investigation is necessary to assess the quality, safety and care offered by the child care provider.
While the Center is required to submit to the State the names of staff for child abuse and criminal record background checks, The University of Iowa has not conducted any background checks, substance abuse testing or other investigation on any of the Centers or their respective employees. By posting these centers on the Family Services Office web site, the University is facilitating communication, not making a recommendation.

Openings available: (1) July 1 to mid-August, morning preschool program (8:30 am to noon) for children above 2 years of age; and full-time care (7:45 am to 5:30 pm) for children above 2 years of age. Care is available Monday through Friday. (2) Starting August, (2) full-time openings for children under 2 years of age, 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, Monday through Friday.
