Present: Kevin Ward, Dave Bergeon, Suzanne Hilleman, Shannon Bartlett, Joe Marron, Bonnie Anderson, Deb Conger, Bob Sass, Laurie Hathaway, Todd Taylor, Tim Cook, Jim Schepker and John Stellmach (guest.)
Dave Bergeon reported that Dave Ambrisco has been promoted to the Senior HR Rep at ITS. He is not sure if we will get another UIHC representative.
Processing Grievances:
- General discussion on the handling of grievances.
Working at Iowa Survey:
- Over 62.3% answered the survey. Most staff and faculty are positive about their work experience.
- They are continuing to analyze results and will develop strategies to address campus-wide concerns.
- Will survey again in 2012.
UIHC Complimentary Parking:
- Saved over $1,000,000 last year by discontinuing the program.
Flood Contractors:
- There has been a rumor that some flood contractors did not pay their employees. Accounts Payable did an investigation utilizing a forensic accountant. No evidence of fraud was found.
