The Good Stuff provides you tools to make meaningful and healthful lifestyle changes. This challenge focuses primarily on developing eating habits that promote a healthy. Your challenge is to broaden your healthy eating habits each week. To assist in achieving your goals, you are provided with a number of educational resources. The emphasis of this program is on implementing the healthy eating recommendations at www.ChooseMyPlate.gov.
You will be provided with a Score Card to track your progress during the challenge. Each time you complete an activity, you will “X” out the appropriate circle on your Score Card. Your goal is to reach Level 4 by the end of the 8-week challenge. YOU DO NOT NEED TO TURN YOUR SCORE CARD IN AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM!
You will use your score card to track your healthy eating activities. Each time you complete an activity, you will check off the corresponding token on your score card. For example, for Level One, you will check off a token for each day you eat 5 servings of fruit/vegetables. At the end of each week, you will record the number of checked tokens you earned at the bottom of your card.
At the end of each level, there is a bonus “Self-Care” challenge that will propel you to the next level. Once you check off your weekly tokens, you must complete the Self-Care Challenge listed on your score sheet in order to advance to the next level. These challenges include restocking a first-aid kit, scheduling a dental appointment, and taking blood pressure.
