COMMUNITY PARTNERS
UI Lean has partnered with several local groups to help them implement Lean and to learn more about the process ourselves. Community partners include:
Iowa Lean Consortium - a statewide membership organization to further the Lean message in the state of Iowa.
Iowa State University - ISU invited UI Lean to participate in one of their first Lean events.
Iowa Healthcare Collaborative - The collaborative is actively promoting Lean initiatives within its members.
University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics- Have had an active Lean initiative for many years.
Iowa Office of Lean Management- Iowa was the first state to codify an Office of Lean Management in the country.
Iowa Department of Natural Resources - The IDNR has sponsored numerous Kaizen events. They are Lean leaders in the Iowa state government.
