excellence in undergraduate research awards


The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to sponsor the Excellence in Undergraduate Research awards. These awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in scholarly investigation, artistic creation, or performance by an undergraduate student in each of the following fields:

Arts and Humanities
Mathematics and Engineering
Natural Sciences
Social Sciences

To be eligible for an award, a student must a junior in standing and be returning as an undergraduate for the next academic year. Recipients are recognized at the Spring Undergraduate Research Forum at the Blank Honors Center and receive a $1,000 stipend and travel allowance to attend a conference in their area of study for the next academic year.
