General Interest Sessions:
Interested in Getting Involved in Undergraduate Research? Join the Research Ambassadors to learn the basics about getting involved in research, finding a mentor, and applying for awards. If you're already involved, send your friends here to help them find out how they can benefit as well!) –It's never too early to start planning your research opportunity. At the end of this session students will be able to:

1. Articulate the benefits of undergraduate research.
2. Articulate an area of research interest.
3. Have an understanding of how to find and approach a possible mentor.
4. Understand the resources ICRU can provide to undergraduate researchers, fauclty and staff.

Making a Professional Poster:
Now that you've been doing research, find out how to present your work to others in the community. Creating a professional poster can be a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be! Learn the ins and outs of research poster design, information, printing and communication. You won't want to miss this session packed full of tips, templates and ideas for designing and communicating your research or creative project. All students who want to present at the Spring Undergraduate Research Festival or Research in the Capitol should come to this workshop!

Mock Poster Presentation Night:

Are you nervous about presenting your research? Do you want to practice your resaerch presentation? Do you want to know the inside judges scoop for the Spring Undergraduate Research Festival? Join the Research Ambassadors for this first-time mock poster presentation night. Bring your poster and your best dialog and join other students as you present your presentation to each other and share feedback!

Join Research Ambassadors to learn about the variety of ways to travel for research. Conferences, data collection, and presentations. The possibilities are limitless!
