The E-Book
on International Finance & Development

A substantial work (300 pages) that covers major aspects of public international finance and international development. Coverage includes the roles of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and the World Bank in a globalized economy as well as the Mexican and Asian financial crises.
The Center is adding a new part--Part Four--to the E-Book. Sections on Debt Relief as well as Remittances and Development are now posted and additional sections are forthcoming. -

- Events - On December 14-15, 2007, the New Zealand Centre for International Economic Law held its Inaugural Conference, "International Economic Law and National Autonomy: Convergence or Divergence?" Professor Carrasco presented a paper, co-authored by Ms. Alison Guernsey, proposing a major reform of the World Bank’s Inspection Panel.
