LatCrit III Conference, University of Miami School of Law, Miami, FL 08 May 1998 Professor Carrasco presented the E-Book on a panel titled, Law, Poverty & Culture: Challenges Facing Development Narratives, at the ThirdAnnual LatCrit Conference.
SALT Teaching Conference Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, CA 16 October 1998 Professor Carrasco and Kristen Berg presented the E-Book in Los Angeles while E-Book Staff Members Roman Terrill, Jason Sawyer, Doug Simkin, and Janet Jenson simultaneously presented the E-Book in Iowa City. At a designated point in the presentations, presenters in Los Angeles and Iowa City simultaneously entered the E-Book Chat Room to discuss the global financial crisis with Mr. Thomas Coutrot of ATTAC, a French NGO supporting the Tobin Tax.
ASIL Annual Meeting, Washington, D.C. 25 March 1999 Professor Carrasco presented a paper titled, The E-Book on International Finance and Development: Using Cyberspace to Promote Social Justice, at the American Society of International Law Annual Meeting. His lecture included a demonstration of the E-Book.
