When a person has applied for funding for assistive technology equipment from a public agency or from an insurance program and the application is rejected, the person may have a right to appeal the decision. We encourage you to use Iowa COMPASS as your first source of referral. Call Iowa COMPASS at 1-800-779-2001 to arrange for legal advocacy services.
