The University of Jos Library has changed?
You can type, send and receive e-mail messages in the library?
You can review literature on your research topic using the library's computer facilities?
You can gain access to other units of the university and the world wide web (internet) by browsing the Unijos home page in the intranet that is available in the library's computers?
You can print your documents in the library's computer lab?
You can even send print jobs from other departments/units on campus and collect in the library. The name of the library's network printer is Langai.

Opening hours for Literature searching is 9.00am - 3.00pm daily
For e-mail messaging, Opening hours is 8.30am - 4.00pm
For Web browsing, 8.00am - 4.00pm

Mr. Stephen A. Akintunde could be contacted for any administrative or more complex problems (technical or otherwise). Call him at 177 on the University's telephone intercom or 16 on the Libraries' intercom.

Become a registered user of the e-mail services? Call at the Computer Center and ask for Mrs. E. Anionwu.
Register for one of the short courses offered by the Computer Center? Meet Mr. Pam Dagyat at the Computer Center or Mrs. A. Tom - Omo - Fregene in the Libraries' Computer Laboratory.

Cost of using the computer facilities in the libraries? No cost.
Cost of printing a page of my document? Only N10 per page using the networked printer. It is N5 per page using a dot matrix printer.
