Stephen A. Akintunde- Deputy University Librarian ( Systems)

To succeed, you must first have the heart. Madam had the heart and a body for the heart too; like the fibre in the pipe, no wonder we connect!

Dr Peter Nedosa - Cataloguing Librarian

I believe I speak for most when I say that Mrs Ojoade  is one of the best officers that has served this institution over the years. She is typical of what one would call a workaholic; she lives and dies for her job... it always comes first.
Mrs Ojoade is diligent, untiring and very honest. One's first conception of her is that she has not imbibed her character from the Nigerian culture.
She  also takes her religion very seriously being a strong catholic. This affects not only her work but extends to her relationship with people. Mrs Ojoade has indeed left a legacy which will definitely pose a serious challenge to those of us she has bequeathed the library.
Madam, I wish the university could tap from your wealth of experience given that you are retired but not tired.

Mrs Ojoade:
"Hard working, time concious and
politically inclined administratively... "
Mrs Ojoade is someone who believes in delegation of power. She is sincere, humble and very accomodating to staff complaints.

I wish you the best in whatever you find yourself doing after leaving the University.

Mr Michael Obaje- Science Librarian

Mrs Ojoade is a MOTHER! She is very frank, strict and takes no nonsense. She is tireless in her pursuit of excellence, particularly when assignments are to be completed.

Madam, I wish you all the best in all your endeavours in Jesus name ...Amen

Mrs Fregene- Computer Programmer

Mr Augustine Sani-  Arts Librarian
Mrs Ojoade can be aptluy described as the Icon of the Library profession, not only in Nigeria but on the whole of the African continent.
Infact, when the news of her planned retirement got to me, I felt a personal sense of loss, Why? Because the almighty father in his infinite mercy and wisdom made use of her to make me what I am today.

a workaholic per excellence, a democrat of no ideological divide and more importantly, a commited christian of  high moral standards.
She will indeed be missed by all.

More Grease to your elbows in retirement and May God continue to shower his blessings on you.

Adieu Mummy,.

Mrs Ojoade is the epitome of a virtuous woman. She is hardworking, extremely active and hard to keep up with. She is also frank, kind, accommodating and very honest. Suffice to say, we shall all miss her.

Ma, I pray that God will continue to bless you  and give  you good health in  your evening years.

Mrs Ajulo-Natural Sciences Librarian

Mr Jonah Adah- Systems Unit

Mrs Ojoade is retiring but she is definitely not  tired. She has served  for long and though her work has been of exceptional quality, it is only right that she gives room for others to serve.
She is very honest and  has indeed served the University well. May God bless you as you retire.

Mr Peter Bajeh- Admin Officer

Working with Mrs Ojoade for about 2 years, I have found her to be an extremely humble lady, desirous of everyone's growth. Working with her has really increased my knowledge of the field of library science. She is open, frank and honest (not tolerating curroption at all). This has been my first time of working with an officer so honest in EVERYTHING.
Mrs Ojoade allows us to do our job. She wants the work done and just wants to see you do it well. She gives ample room and corrects in love. This lady doesn't mind working hard. I wonder at her ability to work so long and well...only God could be her strength. Mrs Ojoade loves everybody!!!  I have worked with her for 2 years but regret that it was not longer.

Madam,
I will continue to see you.
I cannot say good bye
i do not want to say good bye
I will surely miss you!!
May God give you health and Long Life!!!

Mr Yusuf Daniel- Messenger.

Madam (Mrs Ojoade) is a good hard working lady. She corrects mistakes in a good way.  she likes her workers smart and efficient. Working with her though just for 2 years has been a pleasant experience.

Ma, I wish you a very happy stay at home.

Mr John Baiyee- Receiving Clerk.

Mrs Ojoade
" A woman desirous of everyones progress.... A mother to all who come her way!!
A giver of sound advice. Very concerned and helpful.  She is the cause of my progress. Thanks to madam, I am now a student. I am already missing her not to talk of the next few months.

Though Good byes are not forever,
I'll surely be missing you
I pray you have a happy retired life.

Madam is a very hard hard working woman. She doesn't want anything to go wrong. She is very good in documentation and keeps records of all she does. She is quick to react to issues and is very concerned about the library- both its staff and the University Library itself.

I would have loved you to stay,
but since you must go, I pray that you continue with your attitude in all your endeavours
I WILL REALLY MISS YOU!!

Mr Anthony Rwang-Clerk

Mrs Martha Roberts- Library Officer.

Mrs Ojoade is a NICE woman...... A mother to all.....ready to attend to ALL kinds of problems- official and unofficial. She offers sound advice which when taken always proves satisfactory.

Ma,
I would rather you stayed, but as you go
I wish you well wherever you are going.

Mrs Ojoade is a mother!!
I have really enjoyed working with her...She made herself so simple. One can always approach her as a child would a mother. I am already missing her dearly.

I wish you all the best in life as you retire
Many of us will still come to you for advice.
I wish you well

Mr Amos Akwashiki- library clerical assistant

Mrs Ojoade is a pleasant woman. I have worked with her for about 16 years. she is very accomodating. She treats all like her own children, not discriminating by tribe nor by level.  She gives  opportunity  for all to express their views.  Mrs Ojoade is extremely hardworking....she is...
the messenger,
the cleaner,
and the librarian...
very selfless and sacrificial.

We will all really miss her.
Wherever you find yourself, don't forget us.
We are still expecting your contributions and wish you the best in life.

Mr Martins Ikekhai-Senior Librarian
Mrs Ojoade is a mother to us all. She takes us all like her children and treats us as such. News of her retirement was definitely sad news, but as it is her time, we cannot stop her.

I hope you will still continue to contribute to the library as you have helped it greatly. I will miss you dearly. I wish you success wherever you find yourself.

Mrs Lydia Azi- Assistant Library Ofiicer.

Only a book could tell my feelings about the qualities of madam.
No one matches her in this library with diligence.
She is open and discussed with me on our first meeting like one would with a long  time friend.
Madam is approachable, not presenting herself as one to work under but as one to work with.
She calls a spade a spade. She corrects in love. She never discriminates
She judges you based on the way you present yourself and not on any other criteria (tribe, etc.)
I give her credit for much of the knowledge I have on Library

Ma,
Please continue to remain you!!
Mr Sunday John- Library assistant.

Mr Tsok Simeon- Library assistant.

I am greatly appreciative of the efforts of Mrs Ojoade. Though I have not worked with her for long. She did my orientation and ensured that we were able to take off properly. She enabled us to take up tasks and it seems like I have actually been working for longer.
Madam, as you leave I pray you continue to be yourself.

I will really  miss Mrs Ojoade. News of her retirement was sadly recieved  by not only me but my family. Mrs Ojoade was a selfless person. She helped me and gave me advice whenever I had a problem. she is loving and prayerful.
Ma,
I wish you success as you leave.

Mr Michael Mark- Foreman

I am missing Mrs Ojoade already...her technical and her motherly advice .
I doubt if anyone can fill the vacuum  she has left.
She corrects in love....my only consolation is that I shall be seeing her in Church.

I pray that wherever you go you will maintain your relationship with us!!

Mr Bernard Elowa-Higher library officer

Mrs Ojoade is a mother,
loving,
 kind
and above all one with the wisdom of Solomon!

Ma,
Your retirement news is painful. I Pray that wherever God takes you that your loving kindness continues to radiate from you.

Mr Chuks Amadi- Library officer
