Incidence maps show new cases of cancer diagnosed within the time period. The index mapped has the value of 1.0 when the local area has the same rate of incidence as the state as a whole. See the narrative and description of map buttons on the maps for further information.

Late-stage maps show the proportion of all incidences that were classified as late-stage at the time of their first diagnosis. The index mapped has the value of 1.0 when the local area has the same rate of late-stage as the state as a whole. Mortality maps show rates of death when the primary cause of death was listed as the cancer in question.
