QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. QPR is the most widely taught gatekeeper training program in the United States, and more than one million adults have been trained in classroom settings in more than 48 states. This course is listed on the National Registry of Evidence Based Practices and Policies.

Faculty & Staff Services/EAP has formed a partnership with the Crisis Center to provide free training on suicide prevention to interested faculty & staff. The trainings cover 4 basic aspects of suicide prevention.
