Faculty & Staff Services/EAP has formed a partnership with the Crisis Center to provide free training on suicide prevention to interested faculty & staff. The trainings cover 4 basic aspects of suicide prevention.
Objectives:
- Recognizing the warning signs of suicide
- Asking someone if they are suicidal
- Persuading someone who is suicidal to get help
- Referring a suicidal person to the appropriate resources
