The UI has been actively engaged in improving administrative business process. This effort has integrated principles of Lean to reduce waste and improve customer service. Processes selected by managers/supervisors for improvement are aligned with strategic unit goals.
Improvements are aimed at improving quality, response time, security and improving use of technology and decreasing unnecessary steps or effort. This course will provide managers and supervisors with a general overview of Lean and how to apply it to process improvement efforts within the workplace.
