Promoting inclusion, affirmation, and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and queer (LGBTQ) people in the University community.
Objectives:
- Provide factual information about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and queer (LGBTQ) people, increasing understanding and awareness.
- Challenge beliefs acquired in childhood and encourage participants to make mature decisions about their own beliefs.
- Identify and mobilize a group of people informed about LGBTQ issues to provide resources, support, information, and a safe place.
