This course is designed to help you, as a supervisor, know how to act with competence and provide support when an employee acquires or discloses a disability, and will guide you through what you need to do to help The University of Iowa reach its goal of an inclusive community.

Objectives: (At the end of this course participants will be able to)
By the end of the course participants will gain knowledge of disabilities, accommodations, and University policies and resources that are intended to support a diverse workforce and workplace. They will know the role supervisors have in a welcoming workplace and the specific steps they will take when they have an employee with a disability.
