UI Wellness liveWELL Program

liveWELL is a comprehensive wellness program for faculty and staff with the overall goal of enhancing the health and well-being of UI faculty and staff.

NEW FOR 2008! Receive $50 if 2008 is the first year that you take your Health Risk Assessment. Receive $65 if you took it in 2006 or 2007.* Access your HRA on the Employee Self Service web site - you can take it every 90 days. A monthly drawing for $500 occurs for everyone who has taken their HRA within the calendar year.** Meet the $500 winners.

Eligibility

UI regular employees appointed at 50% time or greater are eligible to participate in liveWELL.  Long term plans include a phased approach to provide this service to dependents and the retirees.  Read more in our FAQ section....

Costs

There is no cost to get started! In fact, by making lifestyle improvements as a result of the liveWELL process, significant health care cost savings can be seen.

For completing an online Health Risk Assessment (HRA), you will receive a cash incentive.  The incentive will be added to your pay check the month after you complete the HRA*.

* The IRS considers any monetary incentive or gift card given to an employee as cash equivalents which should be included in the employee's taxable income regardless of the amount. The montary incentive given to you for completing the Health Risk Assessment will be reported to the Payroll Office the month you complete the HRA and reflected in your next month's pay check.

** An employee may only earn the annual incentive or monthly $500 drawing one time per calendar year.
