Comments from past Health Coach participants
- “I like the way the program is designed to meet the needs of the individual - the group approach does not work for me. JoAnn had many good suggestions I would never have thought of.”
- “I am very thankful for this program. Before talking with Erin, I didn't even know where to start. Now I have goals and a plan to be more healthy and productive!”
- My coach’s guidance helped me to start walking on a regular basis. I thought I was eating well, but with Joni's help, I have added more fish weekly and vegetables to my diet. I can't believe I actually prefer those foods over chocolate.
- “I am really satisfied with this program. Because of it, I am re-examining my lifestyle and actually moving towards goals, rather than just thinking about it.”
- “This is a wonderful service, and I'm glad that I signed up. Participation in the program has prompted me to make some changes that I will be able to apply in my daily life long after completion of this program.”

Kent Anderson,
UIHC Safety and Security "My first thought in taking the PHA was, ‘I get paid to do this so it’s easy money.’ Then, when my doctor told me during my yearly physical that my cholesterol and blood pressure was higher than she’d like, I began to rethink a few things. I’ve never been one to stick with major changes, so I started slow by getting a pedometer and reading labels on food. Take the PHA, learn about yourself, get healthy, and you may find some extra change in your pocket!" |
