Graduate Education-Financial Aid

Students admitted to the Ph.D. program in the Department of Microbiology generally are awarded a stipend in addition to full payment of their tuition and mandatory fees. The annual stipend amount for the 2012-2013 year will be $25,500. Students with exceptional credentials are encouraged to apply for a University of Iowa Presidential Fellowship, which provides a greater stipend.
