As leaders, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends, each of us has the capacity—and the responsibility—to help build our university. This is our moment, our chance to make an impact that will endure for generations to come.
Strong Stewardship
Maintain affordable and strong education programs. Support research and patient care programs that generate funding. Sustain our flood recovery progress, and protect our people as best we can.
These principles guided budget choices in the face of mid-year cuts and ongoing economic challenges. But coupled with creative thinking and dedication across the UI community, they’ve kept the University focused and strong.
