Who killed them?
The sadness in those eyes is so deep that we can't deny.
Who can bring them back to life?
Their cold hard bodies behind the glass made me want to cry.
Who stole their freedom?
Their empty bodies with nothing but chemical stuff inside.
Who can hear them?
Who can help them?

This year’s resource showed that the zebra (here at the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History) is one of many animals close to extinction on Earth.
