Since moving to Iowa City nearly seven years ago, I have enjoyed watching wildlife such as pheasants, turkeys, and rabbits while out on walks or bike rides with the kids. In addition, it has been fun observing the creatures of the backyard as well. Avians are plentiful, and we see a variety of cardinals, sparrows, ducks, swallows, etc. Every spring, I look forward to this particular plant blooming because of the giant bees that come to visit it for food.
