The image of a horse on my grandparents’ farm means a lot to me because I have a lot of memories of staying at my grandparents’ place over spring and summer break, and when I see this picture it makes me think of all the memories. The picture of this painted-horse is a great way of showing that Iowa is not only home to farms with corn, beans, cows, and pigs. This photograph shows that our ecosystem is very reliant on the animal, which is the theme of the picture. Animals have the ability to make our lives better even when you are having a bad day.
