I started off in basic photography class wondering what I would take pictures of. I also love photographs of animals and nature, so I decided to base many of the pictures I took on that idea. I had just come in from taking pictures around town, and I walked upstairs to find my cat, Bree, sitting in her normal spot on the landing of the stairs. I set my camera on the ground to achieve a worm’s eye view for the photo, focused, set my f-stop and shutter speed, and hoped for the best.

Bree has always been the queen of the house. What she says goes. She is also your normal, loving cat that loves to curl up on your lap and plop down right on your head at night. Although Bree is normally evil, I think this photograph catches her inside image.
