Piano Sundays

Featuring the University of Iowa's amazing talent in a unique and inspiring setting, Piano Sundays present the finest of students in addition to the noted School of Music Piano Area faculty.  Supported by West Music, Piano Sundays celebrates its fifth year with the 2010-2011 series. 

 

 

 

 

Creepy Campus Crawl

Each year Old Capitol teams up with the UI Museum of Natural History and the UI Department of Geoscience to present a ghoulishy fun, safe, and educational Halloween extravaganza.  Students from the University of Iowa help to bring buildings alive with special costumes, tours, activities, plays and more. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WorldCanvass

Sponsored by University of Iowa International Programs, WorldCanvass features a variety of special themes and relevant guests. Hosted by Joan Kjaer, the program also highlights exciting musical performances.  WorldCanvass is recorded by UITV and aired on Iowa Public Radio.

 

 

 

 

 

 

HiStory Time

This unique story-time for kids focuses on discovering Iowa history through various themes and fun activities.  Past themes have included Frontier Foods, the Louisiana Purchase with Lewis and Clark, President's Day and many more.  Children of all ages are welcome to attend!
