The University works as a key partner in economic development in the state, sharing the knowledge and expertise of our faculty and staff through patents, licensing opportunities, business startup assistance, and research facilities.

President's Award for State Outreach and Public Engagement

The annual President’s Award for State Outreach and Public Engagement will be awarded later this spring. This award honors faculty, staff, and students who demonstrate exemplary outreach to the State of Iowa. Four separate awards, each carrying a $3,000 stipend, will be given: one each for individual faculty, staff, and students, and one for a group or organization.
