About UI Mailing Services

UI Mailing Services includes Campus Mail, Bulk Mail, and Metering services. Campus Mail collects and distributes interdepartmental mail, delivers incoming U.S. Mail, and picks up outgoing mail and parcels. Bulk Mail is responsible for bulk mailings, maintaining business reply mail permits, addressing, and determining mail classifications as defined by the Postal Service. It offers automated folding, inserting, tabbing, sealing, labeling, and addressing. Metering Service processes parcels and mail to be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.

Mailing Services develops institutional and departmental partnerships to provide the optimum in mailing efficiency and cost savings. Current partners are the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Iowa Foundation, Alumni Association, and Hospitals and Clinics. It also administers the DDDEO listserv for the University's Deans, Directors, and Departmental Executive Officers.
