The University of Iowa and The Eastern Iowa Airport have entered into an agreement which provides discounted parking in the airport's public parking lots for all University of Iowa faculty and staff.
The discount of one dollar ($1.00) credit for each twenty-four (24) hour parking period will be applied at the exit pay booths. To receive this discount, University employees must present their University Staff ID or UIHC identification badge to the cashier at the point of exit and payment. This program will continue until further notice.

This agreement has the potential of saving the University thousands of dollars annually in parking fees for university business travel. In addition, the discount may also be used when parking for leisure travel. Depending upon the results of this pilot program, the airport may consider offering a designated parking area for university employees in the future.
