Iowa Now offers a one-stop shop for news, multimedia, and features about UI people and programs. This online platform showcases the day’s top stories, upcoming events, and campus news, as well as windows to the university’s official Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels.
Iowa Now—Alumni Edition E-mail and Print Newsletter
Monthly Iowa Now e-mail digests showcase top UI news and multimedia features geared to alumni. A print newsletter is mailed three times a year to UI alumni without active email addresses.
UI Home Page Site
Top-level pages for the sprawling university web presence, including news, event, and feature headlines on the home page, a home-page photo gallery, and additional resources. Updated daily.
UI Social Media Channels
The university’s central Facebook page, Twitter feed, YouTube EDU channel, and more. Updated multiple times daily.
Parent Times Print Newsletter, E-mail Updates, and Website
Quarterly newsletter, monthly e-mails, and Website featuring information especially for parents of undergraduates.
BTN Cable Network Programming
Short news features, documentaries, and other UI programs for BTN, the Big Ten cable TV network.
UITV Cable Station Programming
UI news, events coverage, and other programs for the university’s public access cable channel.
University News Services Archive Site
With the launch of Iowa Now in March 2012, the University News Services site was converted to an archive of news releases dating to 1998. It is no longer updated.
With the launch of Iowa Now in March 2012, fyi News for Faculty and Staff ceased publication. Stories published prior to that date are archived on the site.
