
Programs and EventsA variety of free, public events will be offered in conjunction with the visit of Molly Mason, a widely-known New York sculptor as well as an UI alumna and Cedar Rapids native. Mason recently completed Before the Sun Speaks (right), a work of two stainless steel and kiln-formed glass sculptures for the lobby of the new Kirkwood Center for Continuing Education at Kirkwood Community College. During her visit, she will participate in several events about her work.
