Last April a team of Iowans interested in broadening the scope of state efforts to  increase participation of girls and women in the STEM pipeline attended the STEM Equity Pipeline Leadership Institute in Arlington, Virginia to assess the feasibility of submitting a proposal to become one of the state teams supported by this NSF-funded grant.
The 2008 IHG Student Poster Session was a great success, with 32 student researchers from across campus presenting their cutting edge research. Congratulations to both of you and great success in the future!
