| Elizabeth Khoury (2006) |
I am a graduate of The University of Texas-Austin whose career
interests lie in health care law and transactional corporate work.
I am Palestinian American and a native of Texas who can speak
Arabic and is conversant in Spanish. My hobbies include traveling,
cooking, reading, running, tennis, and anything outdoors. Email: elizabeth-khoury@uiowa.edu. |
| Helen Yu (2006) |
A native of Hong Kong, I have been on the move since I left my home
town in 1994. I have lived in Australia, California, Beijing,
Washington D.C. and Iowa City since then. I graduated from UC Berkeley
in 2001, a former Economics major, and to this day I still wonder
how I ended up in Iowa City studying law. My career interest
is international law--not surprising at all. I would like to focus
on doing China-related work as an international lawyer--if I
become a lawyer at all, that is. Besides pounding on law books,
I also like traveling, reading, writing, clubbing,
swimming, photography and any China-related activities. Email: helen-yu@uiowa.edu. |
Vice-President | |
| Ron Hart (2006) |
Hi. I graduated Quincy University (a small Catholic school in Quincy,
Illinois) with a BA in History. I don't really know what type of law I
want to practice yet, but maybe international law and international
relations. Outside of the law my interests include baseball
(go Cubs), computers, and tennis. Email: ronald-hart@uiowa.edu. |
Secretary | |
| Amy Sung (Dec. 2005) |
I am originally from Davenport, IA. I went to Georgetown University and got my degree in English and Fine Art. I hope to work in international law or
with nonprofit organizations. My interests are photography, yoga, knitting,
cooking, movies, and traveling. Email: amy-sung@uiowa.edu. |

| John Koeshadi (2006) |
I'm a graduate of Cal Berkeley. After college, I went to grad school
at Yale and studied African Studies. After that, I went to South
Africa to study Zulu on a Fulbright-Hayes fellowship. If you ask me
where I'm from, I'll proudly say Walnut, CA (a small bedroom community
in Southern Ca, on the border of LA and Orange County), but I was born
in Switzerland, and raised in Indonesia and England, until I came to
America on July 4th (no kidding) of 1986. In my spare time, I enjoy
playing racquetball and eating at Hilcrest. Email: john-koeshadi@uiowa.edu. |
L1 Liaison | |
| Sehee Foss (2007) |
I am from Cedar Falls, IA, but born in Pusan, South Korea. I was adopted when
I was 2 1/2 and have lived in the US since. I recently graduated from the U of
Iowa with degrees in psychology and sociology. I have been coaching and
judging gymnastics here in Iowa City for 4 years. I would like to go into human
rights protecting and dealing with children, particularly child labor and child
trafficking. I love meeting new and interesting people, socializing, athletic
activities, reading and the Simpsons. Email: seehee-foss@uiowa.edu. |
