When the World Cup playoffs were awarded to Burkina Faso, new stadiums were built as an expression of national pride. These of course, vastly increase the availability of good quality fields for use by local teams after the Cup competition is over. This large and eaborate stadium is in the second city of Burkina Faso, Bobo Dioulasso.
