MSGT Corey L. Jones

Master Sergeant Corey L. Jones is the NCOIC of Personnel, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 255, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. As the NCOIC, he is responsible for all Cadre and cadet personnel actions.

Prior to being stationed at Detachment 255, MSgt Jones was NCOIC, Personnel Reliability Program (PRP), 2d Force Support Squadron, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. He supervised a staff of 2 NCO’s and 2 Airmen in providing full spectrum personnel support for over 2.2K military and civilian contractors earning his team and “Outstanding Performers” during 2011 UCI.

MSgt Jones’ first duty station was Kadena AFB, Okinawa Japan, where he arrived in February of 2000. He was a weapons loader for the F-15C and worked as Squadron Lead Crew (SLC) in evaluating to squadrons on load proficiencies. He later cross trained into Personnel in 2006.

Master Sergeant Jones graduated from Lafayette High School, Williamsburg, Virginia 1999. He is 12 credit hours from completing his Aircraft Armament Systems Technology/ Human Resources degree from the Community College of the Air Force.
