SSGT Christina M. Koonce

SSgt Christina Koonce is currently the Knowledge Operations Manager for Detachment 255, Air Force ROTC at The University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. She is in-charge of the overall management of information and operations life-cycle. She is also responsible for providing support to the Commander as well as the cadets.

She is originally from California. She is a graduate of Rialto High School, Calif. Sgt Koonce enlisted in the Air Force in October of 2000. Her first duty assignment was a special duty at Yokota Air Base, Japan where she worked as a postal clerk in the 374th Communications Squadron.

Prior to her assignment to Iowa, Sgt Koonce was stationed at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas where she was the NCOIC, Knowledge Operations. As the NCOIC of Knowledge Operations, she managed over 25 Records Management Custodians within the Operations Group as well as managing the Commanders Support Staff. During her 11 year career Sgt Koonce has had several awards to include the Communications and Information Manager award.
