It's not to late to join the program and become an officer in the United States Air Force!
Freshman: You can join the program by simply signing up for the AS100 class and the Leadership Laboratory class.
Sophmores: You can join the program by simply signing up for the AS100 or AS200 class, and the Leadership Laboratory class. You will be brought up to speed by your peers and will compete for a slot to go to Feild Training when you complete your sophomore year of college. You will be able to commission with three years of ROTC and four years of college completed. You mush have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and meet all physical and screening standards.
Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students: Although ROTC is primarily a commissioning program for undergraduate students, outstanding and deserving candidates who will already have a bachelor's within the next 2.5 years, can still possibly qualify to join the Air Force ROTC program. If you fall into this category, then you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Have no less than 2.5 academic years remaining on full-time student status
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Meet the required standards on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test
