Background:
Christina is a fourth year paleoanthropology graduate student studying under Dr. Franciscus. This is Christina's second Big 10 school, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in anthropology from Michigan State University in Fall of 2006. She recieved her MA from Iowa in anthropology in Spring of 2009. The summer of 2009 was spent collecting pre-dissertation data abroad and Christina intends to defend her prospectus this fall. Her main research focus is on the ontogeny of the mid-face. She co-presented two posters at the April 2010 AAPAs in Albuquerque, each dealing with aspects the growth and development of mid-facial morphology.
