Merit Badge University
We host Merit Badge University annually on the first Saturday in March. We have done so since 1984. Merit Badge University is a one-day event that affords scouts an opportunity to earn merit badges in subjects that are often otherwise difficult to complete. The event also offers scouts the opportunity to visit a university campus and to interact with university faculty and community professionals. With attendance consistantly surpassing a thousand Boy Scouts, our Merit Badge University is widely considered one of the most successful and best attended such events in the country, even garnering recognition from Scouting magazine.
