In this course students will get an overview of contemporary American comic artists, an introduction to the history of comics in the United States, an will gain an understanding for the genres and structures in Sequential Art. Students will also create their own series of texts which combine design, images, texts, and story. This class is interdisciplinary and open to graduate and undergraduate students at the university.
