ISAAC members are busy planning as well as hosting several educational programs throughout the academic year. In early September, ISAAC hosts the annual Student-Athlete Kickoff. The event usually includes an educational speaker and a picnic dinner that concludes the evening. An example of a past educational program.....in the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina, Former Community Service Chair Christine Kotarba gathered student-athletes to participate in a canning event for the American Red Cross. Over $19,000 was raised prior to the Iowa vs Northern Iowa football game.
