The Athletic Library is located in the Gerdin Athletic Learning Center.

Athletic Library Hours

8:00 am to 5:00 pm
During the first two weeks of school and the week of finals.

8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesdays throughout the remainder of the semester.

Students whose athletic scholarships (tenders) include books, can check out course books in the Athletics Department Library no sooner than the opening day of classes for each semester and summer school. The Library is open 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the first two weeks of the semester and during finals week.

The NCAA permits scholarships to cover the actual cost of required textbooks and coursepackets only. We cannot provide art supplies, dissecting kits, yoga mats, etc.

Book check out procedure:

1. You must present your current registration and a course syllabus for each course for which you are checking out books. If the correct text books are not available, you will be given a requisition to buy the books at a local bookstore.

2. If you drop a course, you must return the books for that course to Athletic Student Services.

3. If you add a course, return to Athletic Student Services with a current registration (showing the new course) and syllabus for the course.

4. You are expected to return all books by the last day of finals. . If you do not return the books by that time, you will be billed for the cost of the books.

The Athletic Department will NOT reimburse you for any required textbooks that you buy without the proper requisition.
