Andy Banse

Associate Director of Compliance

Education: BA degree from the University of Iowa in Elementary Education, MA from the University of Iowa in Health and Sports Studies.

Experience: Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Stetson University in Deland, Florida. Prior to that appointment, Athletic Student Services Graduate Assistant.

Key Duties: As Associate Director of Athletic Compliance, Andy coordinates all aspects of the athletics compliance program here at the University of Iowa.

Personal: Andy is originally from Strawberry Point, Iowa, and was a decorated member of the University of Iowa Men's Track and Field Team. He is married to former Iowa softball standout Lisa Birocci. They make their home in Coralville, Iowa.
