FILM SUMMARY
This follow-up to Linklater's "Before Sunrise" finds its two main characters nine years after they originally met, fell in love, and spent one night together. Now Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) run into each other in Paris for the first time since that night. The film follows the two as they stroll through the city talking about art, politics, philosophy, and life, all before Jesse's plane leaves that evening. What ensues is a beautiful film about love, conversation, and choices. "Before Sunset" is a film that can stand alone, or, paired with "Before Sunrise," as a wonderful sequel to the story of two intriguing characters and their time together. FILM LINKS
