FILM SUMMARY
Often referred to as a Danish Rubics Cube, "Reconstruction" tells the interweaving story of three people. Set in Copenhagen during a 24-hour period, the narrator, August, works intensely on his novel while his wife Aimee has a one-night stand with a photographer, Alex. The next morning Alex appears to have lost touch with his surroundings, as his friends, family, and girlfriend treat him like a complete stranger. Shot on digital video, this film's outstanding, dreamlike cinematography claimed the Camera D'Or at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival.
